Dept. of Birthdays

Happy Delayed Birthday to Two Wonderful People

Years ago now, I met two lovely young women on TWoP; fellow Doctor Who fans, fellow science fiction fans, and fellow genre television fans.

More than that, however, they were lovers of language, and people of faith. They combined those two things and have found a mission, and a path. I don't share their faith, but I'm proud to know people who live theirs.

I hope your Nov. 24 birthdays were very good ones; I wish the coming year treats you well - all the best,

Awww, thank you! We attended an American Thanksgiving celebration with people from seven countries - and the two of us were also sung to. :)

So it was a good day. Also, included in my gifts was the Kindle edition of "Hamilton: The Revolution" (aka the Hamiltome), and I've just finished it, and it was amazing. <3

I'm so glad you were able to spend Thanksgiving and birthday with people you care about!

Thank you, Kaffyr! <3

As Mack said, it was a good birthday, full of good times with lots of friends, lots of delicious Thanksgiving food, and even pretty nice weather. (Cool season is finally here - the best time of the year!) And now it's "cold" enough that our cats want to snuggle with us every evening, which is always delightful. :)

This is good to hear, my dear - and I hope the cool weather lasts as long as possible (What is "cool" in your neck of the woods?)

(And hurrah for cuddling, snuggling kitties!)

Cool season means daytime highs in the low 80s (or even - gasp! high 70s!) F, and overnight lows in the mid-60s. And since houses don't have insulation, that's pretty cold! The locals all wear coats and hats and scarves, sometimes even indoors. :)
