Dept. of Television Series Interrupus

I Just Finished the Second Season of Sense8 ...

... and I am already counting down to the wrap-up movie that Netflix has promised. The show really deserved a third season, but that cabbage has already been chewed too many times On the Internet, so I won't take it on.

But my guess is that they'll need significantly more than 2 hours to wrap the stories up properly.

I'll say it was very satisfying to see
Whispers' face meet the desk, but it's also nerve-wracking to wonder why the hell they weren't able to rescue Wolfgang. Ah, well, this whole series has been predicated not on logic, but on heart. And I'll take heart over logic anytime almost anytime. (I'd prefer heart and logic, but there you go.)

At least this finale is scheduled to show in 2018, so I won't have to wait until 2019, as I might have to do with Game of Thrones.

I heard they were ending it rather abruptly, so that makes me hesitant to see it.

I'd say watch it; they are going to wrap up the story lines with the movie finale, and although they should have had a full third season, I think what they got will be satisfactory. And the show is spectacular.

Can't believe it's going to be 2019 before the final season of GoT. What a crock of poopy.

Although I'd heard that rumor, I also heard that the latest filming schedule indicates the possibility of it hitting our screens before the end of 2018. Given this show's history of fucking with us, I'd say either one is a possibility.

Giving the show maybe more benefit of the doubt than it deserves, maybe Book Six will be out in 2018, and the show's producers don't want to steal any book thunder.

Yes, let's go with that!
