Don't celebrate too much! You don't want to wear Bob out or overwork the oxygen pump. ;-)

I glad to hear of your's son success.

Thanks on his behalf. Overall, people seem to be behind the need for exclamation points. Heh.

I'm definitely passing on good wishes. He's a little shell-shocked, I think, but pleased.

this is not the future I bought a ticket for
On the one hand, something like a quarter or a third of under-30s or under-35s are still living with their parents; on the other hand, there's enough of it to be a demographic (i.e., I am personally acquainted with a couple) with the offspring being the most remuneratively, securely employed member of the family.

Re: this is not the future I bought a ticket for
Given my particular field, that could still eventually obtain in our household. Heh.

Yay, indeed — and as for going, he's been on the go since he got word of the job; yesterday down to fill out forms, and also out to his first intern class at Red Moon Theater. He's going to be able to keep on doing those classes for the next couple of months, something he'd been worried about during the job search, so he'll be able to have his cake and eat it too.
