Hmmm. Are we talking the Chicago garage-rock band, one of whose members is supposed to have died in the same air crash that took Jim Croce? Are we talking the whimsically named Iggy Pop vehicle? The Tasmanian-based Aussie Trolls? The Italian band The New Trolls?

Yes. Yes, I'm confused.

Sorry for confusing you! No, I meant the very Canadian and very funny (and very talented) band Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie, who are often mistaken for The Arrogant Worms and vice versa. If you don't know the Trolls, you're in for a fun time. Go forth and enjoy!

Aha - just saw your comment; thanks for the information (and, hey, I also got to learn about two or three other groups on my earlier search, so it's awin all around! And many happy returns of the national natal day to you, this Fourth of July as well, since I'm replying on that date.

Erm, it's not my national natal day! Though I did live out there for some years, and even managed to pass as a native - protective colouration, y'know :-)

Finding new music by accident is serendipitous. Lovely word, serendipitous. Oi loikes serendipity; it's like serenity with a lucky dip in it :D

I figured by your spelling that you weren't from the lower 48th (or the other sea-girt two states, either); still, what's a birthday if you can't share the wishes, eh?

Heh. I like that definition of serendipity.

Heh, no. I'm from that sea-girt place known as Ireland. Also, I've always known the fourth day of July as 'the day before my other favourite brother's birthday. All right, almost always known, since he's four years younger than me :-)

I hereby release my definition of serendipity into the wild. Enjoy!
