Dept. of Internal Controls

Body OK, Brain Meh
Long day, including dealing with a confusing message from a condo association-related attorney, and not getting quite as much job-related work done as I wanted to get done, but having the potential for a great deal of work to be done tomorrow — on deadline day — and  then I come home from a meeting to discover another weird condo-related mystery, and then I realize I have no gumption to do writing, to post, to think. I'm going to bed.

Been there, am there. Have to make up bed to get it. Thinking of sleeping in my chair.

Agh. Shared sympathy — I hope you managed to avoid the chair, and get to the bed. (Being ready to collapse and discovering that you forgot to put fresh linen on is more than annoying. It's happened to me, too.)

I'm disabled so I have a recliner and I keep a duvet and pillow to sleep there if I need to. (Mostly it's when my hips hurt too much and I need to sleep on my back, but sometimes just so I can sleep with an aged kitty who won't leave under the end table other than to sit/sleep with me.)

It's amazing what we do for our kitties, isn't it? Does the recliner provide a different type of support for you than the bed does, so that the hips are less apt to hurt?

I normally sleep on one side or the other or the one etc. But I have osteopena in my spine and both hips, and sometimes both hips hurt too much to sleep on them, so I go sleep on the recliner.

Good choice. :)

It was definitely the best choice for me that night.

Yeah, I'm a little late here. I'm sleeping too much and then staying awake too much and so forth.
