After Almost A Year

I got another chapter done in Hearts and Moons.

And I think I'm seeing only three more chapters remaining.

... *looks around* ...

I think I hear the universe laughing itself sick, but no matter.

Another chapter! Done! BOO-yah!

Well may you LOL - I've been writing this monster since 2007. It started as a ficathon entry for a writer I respect immensely, and, like a particularly tall and spindly Topsy, it grew. The fact that I can actually sort of see the ending from here amazes me. (And it's not even all that long. It's going to end somewhere over 80,000 words, but that's not a very big novel.

I'm just Un. God. Ly. Sloooow.

I am sure there must be people who've taken longer than I have to finish a fic, but I'm surely in the top 100 Sloow Hall Of Fame. Sigh. But at least now I can see the end. At least I think I see the end ... whimper ....
