Dept. of Look for the Good, Part Deux

This Has Made My Face Hurt

I've watched it far too many times now, and every time I do, I'm afflicted with a huge grin, one so big that I understand what they mean when they say "a grin split my face."

Everyone may have seen it before, but perhaps you'll enjoy it one more time with me. And eaweek? There be some Hiddles dancing in there; as soon as I saw it, I thought of you. Heh.

Clips of Tom Hiddleston dancing should always come with a warning! I love that video though. So much fun in one little vid. :D

Search You Tube under "Tom Hiddleston dancing" and you will find several that will knock your socks off. : D Although in the vid you link here, the most LOL-worthy is Chris Hemsworth in the Thor costume, dancing behind the reporter and waving the hammer. OMG, could not stop laughing. I suspect RD Jr., who actually had ballet training, could cut up a serious rug if he felt so inclined. And I had never seen the behind-the-scenes clip of the Guardians cast dancing, so thanks for sharing!

...I had never seen the behind-the-scenes clip of the Guardians cast dancing...

Yeah, I hadn't seen it before, and so it's my favorite clip. I've seen all of Chris Hemsworth's hamming around in the Thor costume on Saturday Night Live before. Ronan dancing on the other hand...

Hemsworth is really quite the dancing revelation (the longer dance video by the same vidder has footage of him on Dancing With the Stars; he undoubtedly didn't get too far on the show, but he was good enough to impress me.)

Also, he's so frakkin' tall - you realize that they didn't need to do trick shots of him as Thor, at least not in order to emphasize his height.

My mom loves Chris, I love Tom, but I know what you mean. What gets me about Chris Hemsworth is his build. Tom wanted to be Thor, but he hasn't got that bulk. Hell, I've seen Chris Evans talk about how he marvels at Chris Hemsworth's build, and he worked hard to fill out his costume as Captain America.

That tall, that lithe, that full of a sense of humor - hey, what's not to like? (Me, I'm more attracted to a Hiddleston type of build and face, but I can appreciate Hemsworth, especially given that sense of humor.)

The Guardians dance-off is hilarious (Pratt and Pace alone, but the other two are snort-worthy, too.) And I absolutely loved the Jeremy Renner choreography video; I keep forgetting that he has that kind of experience.

Also - the footage of Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver), in what looks to be some sort of indie film, makes me realize how amazing an historical repository the Internet is. Where on earth did the vidder find that? What's it from? There's actually a longer clip from the same source, in a longer dance vid this particular creator put together (it's not quite as good, but still pretty amusing, in my opinion.)

I hadn't seen that yet. It was delightful! Thanks for sharing.

Marvel has been trying lots of different genres for its films (heist, comedic space opera, political thriller, etc.), so I think this calls for making one of the upcoming entries in the franchise a dance musical. What if the conflict in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War is settled with a dance off? What if a rogue spell in Doctor Strange causes everyone to start singing and dancing? Guardians of the Galaxy was about half a step from being a musical anyway, so why not go all the way for the sequel? It could happen!

Also, I can't remember if you follow Marvel's tv shows, but have you seen the dubsmash lipsynch battle between the casts of Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter? It's AMAZING.

This. Is. Genius. Seriously, I'd pay good money to watch that,

And I hadn't seen the dubsmash and I loved it. I'm definitely a fan of both shows.
