And so must I; as much as I dislike the necessity of Monday, I need sleep to prepare myself for it.
Heaven Sent was pretty much magnificent.
I highly doubt that he actually spent two billion years anywhere but in his own mind; fairy tales are, after all, fairy tales. But two billion years inside of one's head - even if the mirage eventually fades - are still two billion years. No matter, it was still magnificent, pure Moffat at his best, Capaldi at his best, Twelve at his best. And yes, Gallifrey, as so many people predicted. Time Lords - those ungrateful bastards.
I may have other thoughts later, but I'm not going to hold myself to that. I haven't seemed to be able to write much about Who this season, even though I've enjoyed the season more than I've enjoyed any season since S06. (Yes, S06. Meetings of the three and a half people in the universe who love S06 will be held intermittently around here.)
