Dept. of Oh, Hell

I Think My Laptop is Dying

And my company is deliberately not responding to my questions about my phone.

I do NOT need this.

Must think of fluffy bunnies.

Actually, thinking of the gorgeous day, and the fact that I'm gonna drop down to see striking Chronicle Herald workers this afternoon before heading up to the Valley to visit with my step-dad again. (We visited for awhile yesterday, and told him we'd take him out to have ice cream this afternoon.)

So, that's good. And laptops can be replaced, or fixed (preferably the latter.)

Huh - I actually feel pretty good now! Vacation magic ....

Arrrghhh...hope that isn't the case. But if it does happen, hopefully it is fixable!!

YAY for gorgeous, wonderful days!

The little fellow appears to be behaving today, so I am patting it on its electronic head and giving it as much approval as possible.

*Hugs right back*

I feel for you, a computer failing is a dreadful thing...

I was in the middle of telling folks that things were behaving today - and then Chrome shut down. Then again, I'm beginning to think it's a problem with my browser, not my computer. So that's a good possibility!

Well, as I told sallymn above, I was in the middle of thinking everything was OK, and then Chrome shut down - but that may mean it's a problem with the browser, and not the innards of my little fella. I'm crossing my fingers!

IE is temperamental maybe it's catching?

*snort*

Since I rarely open IE, unless I have to, my Chrome browser should be well protected. The problem appears to have disappeared, but it may be the first warning of impending doom age.

Argh. Hopeful your lappie doesn't need first aid, and if it does, I hope it's minor.

It appears to have gotten better, although I am beginning to think that it might be time for a new one in, say, a year or so.
